CURRENT REGULATIONS

Decree no. 2016-448 of 13 April 2016

French legislation on tinted windows has been clarified by Decree no. 2016-448 of 13 April 2016, which sets out the rules for the use of solar films on vehicle windows. According to this decree, the front windows of vehicles must allow a Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of at least 70%.
