50,000 worth of parts for drifting!
The big moment for us has arrived! After weeks of waiting, a pallet full of parts worth a total of €50,000 has finally been delivered. Our drift project, which we've been telling you about regularly, is making great strides, with assembly at Brothers Custom before final assembly at Shiftech. Every stage is being planned to ensure that we have high-performance drift cars ready to take on the next CFD season.
Unboxing parts
It's time for the big show! A real pleasure for any drift enthusiast, ready to turn our 335i into a war machine! Without further ado, here's an overview of these nuggets:
Safety first
- 30-litre ATL tank protection cage (to FIA standards) to ensure a safe and reliable fuel supply.
- FIA fire extinguisher kit, essential for safety in the event of fire.
- A hand-held fire extinguisher, mandatory to comply with competition regulations.
- Stilo carbon helmet for Sofiane, combining lightness and protection.
- Simpson Hans Hybrid Sport, a helmet retention system offering perfect safety in the event of impact.
- GT2i harness for a perfect fit in the buckets.
- Rack protectors, essential for preventing damage to helmets and reducing impact in the event of contact.
Passenger compartment and safety
- Sparco steering wheel with Alcantara covering.
- Quick-release steering wheel hub for easy manoeuvring and emergency exits.
- Aluminium plates for the bucket seats, combining rigidity and weight savings.
- GT2i bucket seats, for perfect support in corners and optimised comfort.
- Fast bonnet fasteners for easy access to the engine compartment.
- FIA towing straps, essential in the event of an off-track accident.
Braking system and chassis
- Kit of stanchions to be welded directly to the rocker panels for rapid lifting.
- Copper hoses for the braking system, guaranteeing resistance to high pressure.
- AP Racing brake distributors, for adjusting the front/rear balance.
- Wisefab wide-angle kit and rear kit, essential for maximising traction.
- Winter rear axle, originally designed for drag racing, for quick axle ratio changes.
Engine and power supply performance
- Ultra-light 800-amp Hyperion battery, offering significant weight savings.
- Inner cell of the ATL tank, with 3 Radium submersible pumps to ensure a constant flow.
- Extra-flat radiator, ideal for better heat dissipation.
Bodywork and finishes
- Carbon floor and tunnel, for weight savings and optimised rigidity.
- Streamlined, functionalcarbon dashboard.
- All the windows are in Makrolon, reducing weight without compromising visibility.
- Carbon plates to partition off the petrol section.

The next video will be dedicated to the assembly of the body kit and the covering. The aim is clear: to present the complete car with its covering at the BDG in early April 2025.
